Installation went well, however the "Rename" function not working; and the links to the pages not working in the list module (error page comes up).
Not allowing spaces in the page name really bites. No categories for pages; no search function/plugin for pages; the editor defaults to TinyMCE and no way to change it and does not conform to the chosen editor under global configuration in Joomla (I have another editor for my users). Having a single list of pages in the list module is a very bad idea if you have more than 50 users/members ... need I go on.
This is a great idea that hasn't been improved upon for a few years now. Really lacking some basic features that would make this thing worthwhile. Owner's reply: thank you for using our extension. thank you for your suggestions we really appriciate them. If you want to collaborate with us in upgrading and exyending mysjapce you're welcome.
Kind regards

| Very flexible, could use more admin tasks by FernFerret, May 6, 2008 |

I gave this plugin a 5 star, because I know php, and have since modified it for my specific needs, but having said that I had to modify it to my needs, I will say that it was VERY easy to understand this developers coding. Thank you for this awesome plugin!
I ask that more admin tasks be added, such as the ability for admins to create pages only, then let users edit them. (this is what i hardcoded into mine)
Owner's reply: Hi fernferret,
thank you for using and extending my extension. I would be grateful to you if you could post your upgrades in the forum at http://vincenzodabronzo.com/forum . This is the official web site of the myjspace extension.
Thank you
Kind regards

| Nice, but not for me... by texasmidwife, April 21, 2008 |

It works well and I'm sure this is a good component for some. But for my use, I was disappointed in a few things.
You can't title the pages, only "name" them. So the name of the page has to be limited and no spaces or symbols are allowed. For example you can't use "my page" or "my_page" you have to use "mypage" If you have very many pages, this could become more frustrating.
Also, you cannot link the pages to the profile page of community builder. This is also limiting because the View module just lists all the pages without a way to know what page belongs to who.
That might not be a problem for a small community website or if one user wants to use it to build single pages. But I have website with over 400 members and I was looking for a way for my members to each be able to build a "myspace" type page. With over 400 members, we need a way to link the pages to the profiles instead of listing them all in one unsorted index. Owner's reply: Hi texas, first of all thank you for using and testing my extension.
you are right, but the version of myjspace is still 0.x (0.12.0 current version) and it is still waiting for some work.
If you want to collaborate with us in developing some other features please contact us.

I think this may be one of the great things to come to Joomla1.5, but it still needs some refining before I make it available to my users. This will allow your users to create individual pages and the modules provided allow them to be displayed. The view module needs some form of sorting so you don't have a 100 entry list that makes your page 10000px tall and it still needs some work on the mode of page creation (it's not very sleek yet).
I am quite impressed with the functionality of the component and how simply it does it's job. I can't wait to see where this project goes.

The product and service are excellent. I am so very new to this and was basically clueless. Enzo walked me through it after receiving my desperate email and responded in less than 18 hours. I have paid for a product/service and receive much worse service and support.
I feel I can offer my visitors that little extra when they come to my website. Thanks Enzo! You're a jewel!

Nice component, I had a few questions regarding installation and Chmoding which Enzo answered very quickly. Would be nice to have an onsite search facility to see other users' pages and to link it to community builder profiles.
Nice one Enzo, Grazie

Very nice work, could you implement your component and module to be a part of Community Builders – members profiles page? I think this would be a better place for people to use this comp&module. Also it would be nice, when you click a person’s profile you’ll see what they added under the main part of their profile page and all CSS will apply.

Nice and simple to install and allows users to create their own "profile page" with their own information, links and whatever else they can cram in with your site WYSIWYG editor.
Very easy to use and administer
