LMO - Joomla!
Component and modules to integrate the leaguemanager Liga Manager Online ( LMO - http://www.liga-manager-online.de ), a standalone PHP script to administer sport leagues like soccer, football, icehockey, handball, basketball and many other, into Joomla!. Use the Joomla!-LMO component or any Joomla!-LMO modules to show rankings, fixtures, results, player stats, charts, matchup's, minitables or the next games of your preferred sport leagues. The LMO, as a 'standalone' installation, is working pretty with our provided modules. The component is still a beta release. So neither all of the LMO functionality, nor all of our modules may work properly with the component right now. But the team and especially Yann is working hard on further integration. Please visit our Homepage http://www.successwiki.com/ for examples and feel free to download at the forge or to ask your questions at the forum on our homepage.

It is a pretty good component especially for those administrating sport website.

Some problems though, I have some problems configuration all the modules provided as I can't find any documentation.

An other point is the predictiongame part which doesn't work.

Good luck

Owner's reply:
Hi boulet,

have a look at the tooltips (provided for all module settings) in the module backend.

Best regards,

LMO Worth Watching by Schelly, October 12, 2006

Noticing the component was last updated after the remarks before mine, I thought I'd try it. I'm glad I did. LMO is not a dead project and it has gotten beyond most of the "globals" issues it may have had before.

The component is beyond a mere bridge that integrates a standalone script into Joomla, and is becoming a component in its own right. I encourage anybody who has a need or use for a multi-team league management system to participate in this project. The current developers are actively working on it as time allows and they answer questions posted in the forums.

The script from which this project is born is quite extensive and, with the right direction, will become quite a flexible and tweakable system, in my opinion. Worth watching and even better, worth getting involved with.
