I have several sites involving Auctions and reverse auctions. I used on some phpprobid, but that this is much more what I was looking for. The solution from the factory integration gives me much more power and allows me to add other components that are so needed in ourdays. The extension suite works and delivers what it promises. No argue there!

At first I was reluctant that the guys can deliver a product that complex. Turned out I did not know them ;-) the product was not only very good, but the support for it was top A. They really did the best to help me out to get this product on my production server. The SEO is also very good and I really get good hits!

Not only is this the best value around for and auction format, you can not beat the support. I have been using AF for over a year now and have had no major issues. It is a very robust package that keeps getting better. Updates are frequent, not to fix bugs but to enhance everything from SEO to adding additional valuable features. Unlike some extensions where you are on your own in terms of support, the support at thefactory.ro is quick and efficient, in spite of the fact that the writers are halfway around the globe from me. I highly recommend this product for those considering an auction format and also recommend the other products I have tried written by this firm.

When Auction Factory was released I was excited. This was one of those things that was still missing from Joomla. At first it looked a little dull and ascetic. I waited for few updates and bought the version 1.02. It was still far from ready, but I decided to support the work and test it on.

Now after testing it for a month or so, it seems that it is still too complicated for a "normal" user. We had 5 moderators using it for that time and all of them had at least some problems. Most of the problems were minor ones. But after the testing all the testers said that if they were normal users, they would not use that auction possibility.

I really hope that you make the interface a bit more user friendly and that you make the bidding a litlle bit more straightforward. After that I'm ready to test it again and maybe even do that on the production site.

But this is really a promising start, I hope you keep developing it and I then I can change my rating to 5/5. You're nearly there.

I was looking for a long time for such component. I had several tries with freelancers to develop such a component, but what they delivered was way to bad. I just registered cause i`m really pleased with this component and i wanted to share this experience with other people. Also this guys made a custom work for me to develop auction factory further and it runs perfect! thank you!

Since this component appeared, i'm able to offer more services through my website. Due to the complexity of the component i needed some help in installing it, but again the developers helped me very quickly. I really recomand this component. It has all the features an auction system should have.

Great to see at last a functioning auction component for joomla. It's very nice all modules and community builder plugins install automatically. Great feature is the proxy bidding, and for the future version it would be nice to see a better payment integration
