USGS Earthquakes
This module shows the nearest earthquakes from a specified location worldwide last week. The data is obtained from the website from the United States Geological Survey Earthquake Hazards Program.

Within the Joomla Module-Manager, you can change the location to your own with latitude and longitude. Next you can set the maximum distance, and minimum magnitude (4 and higher) as you want to show on your website.

(This module is based on the php script from Saratoga-weather.org)

Works just great by art@artshotwell.com, April 20, 2008
This mod works just fine in Joomla 1. Only fine tuning I did was to modify the date format to fit US. And, that was easy, thanks to the comments in the php file.
