For a long time I was searching for a module like this, to put the date in the language that I wish, in Spanish in my case.
To adjust the time for your needs, you have to select your local time in the option Time Offset (Locale, Global Configuration, in the Joomla Administrator of your site). Example, in my case: “(UTC -06:00) Central Time (US & Canada), Mexico City”.
This module is very easy to use and it is very nice.
