I've never written a review before even though I've been using Joomla for Years, but I've got to say... DUH!!! Why haven't the Core Devs already written this one in. I've been looking for a Plugin like this for a long time, my only serious regret is that I've only now found this. Works like a dream, my website gets usually 10-15 new users a day so that's 10-15 users a day I have to go in and upgrade to Author, Thank you to emcomponents for this must have.

Does exactly what I need!

On one of my sites, every registered User has to be allowed to write articles. With this plugin I don't need to set each users rights individually. What a relief! Very time saving!

An outstanding plugin that has taken the hassle out of manually changing new members from being Registered to Authors. Now the system takes care of it for me.

Alright, usually I don't bother with reviews no matter how good an item is. I just don't have the time, but on the other hand I usually don't pick items that don't have reviews.

I was so tired of having to make my authors request author status or going through and giving it to each new member (a semi writing site sort of). This is exactly what I was looking for and I was desperate. So- I downloaded.

At first I thought it didn't work but then I went back and found out I needed to click 'enable' in parameters. Just a silly little blip on my part. Anyways, I tested it three times and under various conditions of my site and it worked perfectly. Not a single problem, it didn't clash with anything and it didn't stop working.

Thank you, this is a great little item that surely deserves more atention. I'm hoping my review will help others give this bit the chance it clearly desearves.
