Described Functionality Works Out of the Box by friends1976, August 25, 2008
The functionality listed works right out of the box! I am so impressed with the prompt support provided, also. I emailed the developer a "wish" of mine for this script and he responded back within one day with a modified version for me. I would definitely recommend this extension for its ease of installation and the support behind it. Thanks!

Very Good! by bendecida, August 22, 2008
Good extension but for my is not working on IE6.

Works Great in Firefox/Safari by jfreemom, August 19, 2008
This seems to be a great extension, however, I am having issues with it showing the pictures in IE7. It just shows the red x. I have the updated version which was suppose to have the fix in it for this. Still no luck...anybody have any ideas on this? I would definitely love to use this on my site.

Impressions by DeB, August 11, 2008
Hi!
Excellent job with this module!
I have it on my website and it works out of the box!!!

Works great in all but IE7 by SineMacula, July 30, 2008
Banner Slider is exactly what I needed - the ability to use the "Custom Code" field for my banners, and have them fade-in/out.

The only problem I have is that it's not working in IE7. It's fine in IE6, and Firefox, and Safari - but in IE7 the outline of the banner position shows up, but it's empty - none of the text I've put in the Custom Code fields is showing up at all.

Great Banner Tool by kado, June 20, 2008
Banner Slider worked right out of the box. The module only took a few minutes to configure. Works well with horizontal and vertical ads. Really like the transition effects, image resizer and ease of use.

simplicity, I love it by guusd, June 9, 2008
I love this module mainly because of it's simplicity. It does what it says and more. Especially the possibility to show banners from certain clients of categories is very handy.

The only feature I miss is that there is no footnote as with the standard banner module in joomla.

Simple & Extremely effective by Davo, May 31, 2008
Really easy to install and setup. Install, select position, select transition effect, publish. Job done.

The transition effects are excellent, without having to fuss too much with times for fade in fade out and so on. You have a choice of direction for transition (up, down, left, right) or fade.

If you have a number of static banners that you want to unleash some life into, this is the module for you. Try it, you'll waste hardly any time with it and will see what it can do straight off the bat.

Thank you! by joarvat, May 27, 2008
After having tried another ad rotator for Joomla 1.5 which frankly did not work, it was refreshing to try this one. Don't have much experience with it yet, but it seems to do what it says on the tin. And it validates, except for one small thing: no ALT text for the image. If you could fix it to take the alt text from the banner and show it, it would be awesome!

Owner's reply:
Image alt attribute will be added in v0.2 final. Thanks

Easy to use easy to install by mjl1817, May 21, 2008
I installed and had it running without a hitch in less than three minutes! Unlike some of the other ad mods listed this mod worked without a hitch! This has solved my dilemma of having many advertisements and not wanting to clutter up my pages with a large number of links!
Now, one rotating ad space and I can still show all my ads on a page.
Thank you for making this mod!

Great solution for banners! by zaint, May 21, 2008

Effective by SenorCoconut, April 27, 2008

What Control? What Support? by CET, April 8, 2008

This module works in the technical sense. It shows banners without messing up your page or giving errors. However, my experience was that it showed EVERY banner, regardless of how it was set up. The module completely disregarded section and category ID's, and instead showing every banner in the banner directory. I submitted multiple support requests and received no response. After over a month of trying to make this module work, I had to junk it and move on.

Thanks great plugin by Ian Jura, March 13, 2008
Just to say thanks for a nice and simple plugin that simply works with no problems

Compared to XBanners... by tgelvin, March 1, 2008

This is far more superior... very easy to configure and it just works... I wanted to see to experiment with it so I copied the module and place the banners on a different part of my website and it worked... I now have more than one area for banners.
