Simple Lists
Simple Lists is a pure Joomla! 1.5 MVC-component for displaying "lists". A list is handled as a category containing items. Each item can be displayed using a title, a text and a picture, while this picture can point to a certain URL. This makes the component ideal for displaying a page full of logos, a portfolio page or perhaps a peoplebook.

The component is shipped with different views, allowing output in a simple table, output using tags, and output for just the picture. Most importantly: Each list can be configured through the "Parameter" section of the appropriate menu-item (in the Menu Manager).

Version 1.5.0.8 has mostly bugfixes and improved error control.

Good, but could be better by Switch, August 14, 2008
This component does work well. It has a clean and simple method. BUT it could vastly be improved if you could use it to manage existing categories or articles.

The ability to move an exisiting article from the core to this component would be fantastic.

Fantastic by rightthen, June 26, 2008
it's nice to find anything that doesn't involve 2 hours to a day to learn and use it immediately after downloading. Simple and fun.

Almost what I need by kray, June 16, 2008
If I could use my current set of Sections and Categories and the content published within those, this would be the perfect Component for what I need!

Maybe future versions. Nice component though.

Excellent Component by timothy.stiffler, April 21, 2008
Having just installed this component I must say this is exactly what I've been looking for. I needed a simple to use and customizable extension to list all of my current client-projects, and couldn't find any that just did what it was supposed to do. After a few minutes of tinkering and trying to find the best view, I decided that this component was exactly what I needed.

Great job!

Great simple component by peakbagger, April 15, 2008
This component addresses a feature that I found lacking. It works well and gives neat results without much fiddling. It would need the ability to give items multiple categories for different lists containing the same items more than once though.

Lovely! by LikeStuff, March 6, 2008

This is simple for sure but a great component in my view. If you need to list or need to add information on your site but don't need anything cumbersome, then try this.

One thing I would like is automatic sorting, meaning you can choose from the backend if your items should be sorted the way you enter them, alphabetically or reverse alphabetically, etc...

Great job and Thank you!!
