Yes, it's title can talk.

Unfortunately I wasted several hours to try and to remove some other comments COM until I found this ones.

It's so attractive that I have to install another com from this author, the Easy (Quest) Book.

This thing works out of the box and looks WAY BETTER than any other comment system for Joomla, even the ones gung-ho capitalist Joomla users are *charging* for.

Way to go on EasyComments!

The person who said below that the code is not done well is crazy and doesn't know how to program... this code is tightly folded and packed away into easy to edit sections; it's one of the BEST coded components out there! Besides this system being small, it's beautiful and fully functional - VERY easy to customize!

A suggestion: It would be great to allow hiding of the email/title/name sections for registered users, and just show the comment box, it was easy to do this myself (a few lines), but it would be great to see in the actual component out of the box.

Again, BEAUTIFUL work! Your work has saved countless hours and frustration for many! :)

I tried some comments systems, looking for something easy and this one realy done its job.
The only thing I'm mising is the posibility to switch off the template style and get some unstilled "div" with no need of hacking the code (which was my case - EC litle bit mess up my page).

This component is easy to install, easy to use and easy to combine with any template. However, for the last months there has been a serious spam issue and the update link leads to a hacked page. The developers has not answered my emails, and the spam and hacker problem has not been addressed weither in their pages or forums. For the time being we've had to unpublish this component's form from our page to avoid the spam.

I love that you can manually insert a comment box for specific content items, not just for every category. Great variety of features and spam blocking with easycaptcha.

This component is exactly what I needed!

I've spent an untold number of hours playing with different components for commenting and I LOVE! EasyComments.

Easy install, clean and lovely administrator interface, clean and attractive display of comments on the website and best of all? W3C compliant (gasp!).

I'm personally getting tired of trying to use components designed by sloppy coders, and it's incredibly refreshing to have one work so beautifully straight out of the box!

I have tried other comments components/modules, most of which required a lot of tweaking so that they would work as advertised or so they would look great whenever they destroyed my site layout. With easycomments, it worked the moment I installed it. It was easy to customize so that I could have it match the rest of my site. I gave it 4 stars because I had a slight prob with the spacing between wordsThe good part of this prob was when I posted the issue on the forum -- I received a quick response involving an easy fix and things were up and running ASAP.

Wouldn't work on Joomla 1.5 (not that it claimed to, installed fine but wouldn't show.) I wasn't ready to give up on it though, so I installed it on another site running the previous Joomla! version, and it worked like a charm. Looks clean and uncluttered even though my site design is very graphic heavy, as it hasn't got too many colors of weird shades - like dark blue...

Too long have i been looking for a compact, beautiful, and perfect commenting system. This beats mxcomment, jreactions, jomcomment and akocomment.

I first tried !joomlacomment, but it was too fancy for my need. I don't need it too take up too much eyesight and too look all special. The other comment components also seems to like to look special when I looked at the demos.

Easycomment was easy to install and just worked. Easy to set up and best of all: it looks great!

Blends in smoothly with my template.

This is the simpliest and user-friendly component for comments. However it needs a lot of work. IHO the comments display should be separated in a module. The user-access-moderation should be more flexible. A feature for voting on the most useful comment would be nice!

So far THIS IS THE BEST comments system, and I had tried almost all of them!

For About 4days now i have been search for a commenting system, first it was AKOcomments then !joomlacomments and now Easycomments.

Easycomments was like so easy to install, took me about 5secs, and the Easycaptcha well that was easy to install to.

I Would recommend Easycomments to anyone looking for a Commenting System.
