This module allows you to help people to Get Involved with some campaigns, either donating to Joomla! or more importantly helping to extinguish Poverty (MakePovertyHistory.org).

The module is fully customizable (image, text and link). This way you not only can translate the text for each campaign but you can promote your own campaign!

You can have one of the corner images pre-defined or make your own... corner image that comes in the module:

September 16th 2008:
- Bug fixed in Joomla 1.5 version: now it allows to have it installed in a subdirectory

December 17th 2007:

December 14 2007:
With the community Input I've added two American Red Cross Images... The "I'm Ready" is very nice for people who use Live Messenger because a percentage of the revenue with Ads goes to the Red Cross.

If you know a social cause/campaign and you want to publish it on your site, do not hesitate to send the logo to me and I will update this module for you...

This module is using the Ultimate PNG Fix plugin by JW, if you already use any PNG fix you can disable in the module parameter.

... and excellent support from the author.

Had a few issues when installing primarily because I was using an old copy of the module but didn't notice and then the mod_beInvolved.xml file corrupted on upload!

A little help from Douglas and all is working perfectly now.

Just installed this module on our site. The site support was superb and very helpful. I am running Joomla 1 and the image did not show up at first. I was not 100% sure on the module position so created a new one after help from the site owners and then with their help added the code to the template just after the BODY tag in the HTML and bingo... all works fine now. I just added a new image and link and it looks great. Once again thank you to the devs for great support and a great module.

Had a small issue with loading a custom image, as well as opening the link in the parent browser instead of a new one.
I filled in the contact form on Douglas' website an within a few hours (!) he mailed me a modified version.
In other words: GREAT SUPPORT for a great module!

I had some issues installing it, nor me or douglas know why, but I reinstalled it and worked like a charm
GREAT support in just a couple of minutes!!

I wish there could be a way of controlling the shape of the banner, in a way that the link just worked where the banner is present, not the whole square... but I guess it's really hard to achieve that.

I had a few minor configuration issues (at my end, not the developer's) and I got very quick help. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by the quick help... anyone who develops a mod like this is obviously someone who cares about what they do. Well done!

I installed the extension with no problems but had one bug with the template I was using. I emailed the author and he worked on it over the weekend, then sent me a fix. Fantastic extension and great support; he really cares that it works for your needs.

I downloaded the Be Involved mod for 1.5, installed it and had trouble with my installation. Emailed support, got an answer within 24 hours with a new custom file attached, installed it and works like a dream. This is a great mod supporting some great causes. Download it!

This is one of the most easiest extension to setup without any issues! Be Involved! - Site corner image extension provides value for any site.

My only suggestion is to maybe make the image animated =D

I love the concept and the module uploaded, installed and was configured in less than five minutes.

I have to agree with another comment for future updates:
-an option to put the image on the top left of the module location.
-an option to show selected banners randomly

Be Involved, definitely is a perfect module:

Works Like a charm
Simplicity of the module is awesome.
Support is pretty fast(I had my emails replied in a minute, thanks to Douglas).
You can easily set the parameters.
You can make your own banners.
No Bugs.
Fully Compatible With J!1.5, no need for legacy mode plugin.

wish list for next version:

-an option to put the image on the top left of the screen.
-an option to show the banners randomly(I personally support more than one charity).
