This module allows you to help people to Get Involved with some campaigns, either donating to Joomla! or more importantly helping to extinguish Poverty (MakePovertyHistory.org).

The module is fully customizable (image, text and link). This way you not only can translate the text for each campaign but you can promote your own campaign!

You can have one of the corner images pre-defined or make your own... corner image that comes in the module:

- Added Hope Unlimited, which is a Award-Winning Program that aims to transform "the lives of Brazil's street kids".
- StopGlobalWarming.org is a non-profit movement to demand our leaders freeze and reduce carbon dioxide emissions now. We are all contributors to global warming and we all need to be part of the solution.
- NineMillion.org is committed to giving refugee youth the chance to learn and play, recognizing that education and sport can improve their lives.
- UNICEF.org, is committed to child protection, survival, basic education, gender equality and development.
- Komen.org is dedicated to curing breast cancer at every stage - from the causes to the cures, to the pain and anxiety of every moment in between.

December 14 2007:
With the community Input I've added two American Red Cross Images... The "I'm Ready" is very nice for people who use Live Messenger because a percentage of the revenue with Ads goes to the Red Cross.

If you know a social cause/campaign and you want to publish it on your site, do not hesitate to send the logo to me and I will update this module for you, and there is no charge for it...

This module is using the Ultimate PNG Fix plugin by JW, if you already use any PNG fix you can disable in the module parameter.

I installed the extension with no problems but had one bug with the template I was using. I emailed the author and he worked on it over the weekend, then sent me a fix. Fantastic extension and great support; he really cares that it works for your needs.

I downloaded the Be Involved mod for 1.5, installed it and had trouble with my installation. Emailed support, got an answer within 24 hours with a new custom file attached, installed it and works like a dream. This is a great mod supporting some great causes. Download it!

This is one of the most easiest extension to setup without any issues! Be Involved! - Site corner image extension provides value for any site.

My only suggestion is to maybe make the image animated =D

I love the concept and the module uploaded, installed and was configured in less than five minutes.

I have to agree with another comment for future updates:
-an option to put the image on the top left of the module location.
-an option to show selected banners randomly

Just installed on J1.5 and I am done. Just took less than a minute to display on the corner.

Be Involved, definitely is a perfect module:

Works Like a charm
Simplicity of the module is awesome.
Support is pretty fast(I had my emails replied in a minute, thanks to Douglas).
You can easily set the parameters.
You can make your own banners.
No Bugs.
Fully Compatible With J!1.5, no need for legacy mode plugin.

wish list for next version:

-an option to put the image on the top left of the screen.
-an option to show the banners randomly(I personally support more than one charity).

Everything just works great right off, and the best part is the info on how to configure it on the developers homepage. Also the PSD file so I can make my own banners totally rocks. I do lot of sites for non-profits that want an easy link for donations. Also, special thanks for the Joomla!1.5 support.
