 A feature rich birthday reminder module that works with Community Builder. Displays a list of upcoming birthdays with the ages of the people. Listed format is fully customizable, and names or usernames can be linked to Community Builder profiles or private messaging components. Dates can be server, website or GMT.

Looks great so far just having a bit of a hassle trying to create the field button to hide the person's age (year). These are the instructions but not going as planned "You can also optionally add a checkbox field which allows the user to specify that they wish their age to be hidden. Fill in the name of this field in "Hide age field". |

Module works great, but it wasn't obvious to me how to switch from displaying the username to displaying the full name. After looking at the .php file, you enter %N instead of %U.
Hopes this saves someone a bit of time. |

If you don't like the formatting, it is easy enough to modify the HTML list tags in mod-birthdays.php to make the bullets go away. Look here:

I´m using this at a spanish site and it worked fine but it doesn´t use the server time offset and this was important to me since my server is timed in GMT+2 and my users are in GMT-8, so i had to work in this detail and now it´s working great. |
