Not for 1.5 by grll, July 7, 2008
Tried this in legacy for 1.5 but it's not compatible.

Everything looks OK on the surface but am unable to consistently allocate players to teams, or set their positions, or get anything to publish to the frontend.

User manual is pretty basic.

1.1 users seem happy with it so if that's what you are using it'll probably do the job well enough.

For us 1.5 users the search for a soccer league extension continues.

So far - so good by slewis1972, April 26, 2008
Looked at this for my site for a youth fotball team. Joomleague was far too complicated for the beginner.
So far so good. Its easy to configure and get setup.

But..... needs a forum to discuss issues and fixes even though email communication is good. One of my main gripes is that the default score for games is 0-0 when you add a game. This can be offputting if you dont add a score - if anyone has fixed this let me know.
And to add match reports to each match would be great.
Otherwise, well impressed so far.

Easily the Best League Component by jessejames, January 21, 2008
3 of 3 people find this review helpful:
I have tried every single league component on this site and not a one worked for me, it was either in a foreign language or it was set up for tipping, which i have no idea what that is. This Component has almost everything i need, ability for numerous leagues and seasons. Stat tracking, team pages, players. People can also register their own teams and players, leaving me with less work. The only thing i would change is how you add players and the ability to change what stats you track, it is soccer default, other than that it is perfect! I am running Xbox360, online leagues for hockey and football with it now.

When i contacted the developer he actually asked for my opinion on it and for possibly a module to go with it. A developer that actually asks for your ideas and welcomes them. Now that was refreshing!!!

Like i said, ive tried the others and this has them beat easily, you wont be disappointed
