AllVideos Reloaded is a fork of the famous AllVideos plugin, natively developed for Joomla! 1.5 and vastly enhanced with lots of invidually tunable parameters. In addition, all parameters (and more) can be individually overridden in each media tag. Internals have been redesigned completely in order to support user-editable tags, stored in the database in a future version. Additionally, for showing media in any module position, there is mod_avreloaded acting as a companion.

AllVideos Reloaded 1.1 released!

This is a maintenance release which contains the following changes:

* Fixed replacement of alternate content when specifying alt="" on a per-tag basis.
* Fixed XHTML conformance of alternate content.
* Added preset for DailyMotion.com (Tracker ID #10685)
* Added new attribute img="..." for specifying a preview image.
* Added spanish documentation. Thanks to Juan Pablo Fernández Ramírez.

Great! by Mindvacant, May 11, 2008
The others have said it all, so I'll just say thanks some great work!

Good Job by kajantek, May 5, 2008
Really good job, thanks a lot... Amazing, specially using playlist...

Almost perfect by itscasper, April 27, 2008
In FireFox 2, when scrolling a window with a video playing, the video "shifts" away from its player base. This doesn't happen in IE7.

Owner's reply:
I guess that's when using Windows Media. (wmv, avi, mpg...). In this case MS MediaPlayer Is used, and *that* one does not cooperate with FF very well (guess why ;). Anyway, there's nothing that can be done about that by my plugin (or *any* plugin for that matter) as this behavior cannot be controlled by a server-side plugin. Just another reason *not* to use Windows Media for web-based streaming.

Easy to use and powerful to customize by alexfloren, April 18, 2008

AllVideos Reloaded is the most solid code as I have ever seen before in other extensions. Easy to install and powerful to customise. No bugs, it works from the first installation.

Feature Request:

Use AllVideos with Virtuemart in order to show a video related to a product.

Owner's reply:
If you go to VirtueMart's main configuration, there is an option named "Enable content mambots/plugins in description". If you enable this, then you can enter the media tags in your article descriptions just like inside a regular article. Features beyond that (e.g. auto-creation of media tags) clearly fall in the domain of the VirtueMart developers. Maybe, you can convince them to use the API which I have created for exactly that purpose.

WOW - I WOULD PAY FOR THIS! by rinktime, April 18, 2008
I have to say I'd gladly pay for this module. It worked great out of the box and then when I had an issue I wrote the author and he actually wrote back - and in a timely manner - and helped me.

Just when you think there's no hope you run into code and people like this.

Thank you so much for everything. We're all grateful for your contribution.

Love it! AllVideos Reloaded Rocks! by jkirker, April 15, 2008
I have to say that AllVideos Reloaded Rocks. It's so easy to use it's almost scary... Wow - what I could have done with a tool like this and Joomla 5 years ago huh? ;)

This plugin saved me by morktron, April 14, 2008
I was opposed to installing a third party plugin as I wanted to keep my clients site as safe as possible from breaking. In the end I resorted to this AllVideos and I hmust say I'm impressed! It worked instantly no hassle at all and my client is happy again.

Thank you! by laine, April 12, 2008
I am looking for a 1.5 version....thanks for your reloaded version.

Great plugin, great support by geosysindia, April 8, 2008
This is a great plugin and the support is excellent. To a request to implement megavideo, the author not only did that in a few hours but also wrote me how to prepare the package from the SVN. I can't remeber having such an excellent support from any other open source projects.
Cheers....

Works great, and for MP3's as well! by georgejc, April 6, 2008
This plugin works perfectly! And since I upgraded to Joomla-1.5.2, I couldn't find an MP3 player that worked properly, so I used this plugin, and it works great as an MP3 player too. The only thing that would make this plugin better would be if it it created the playlists automatically.

Fabulous plugin and module by guysmiley, April 5, 2008
Works great and the developer is active and a good listener. Stellar work, Fritz.

All Videos reloaded by xbq, April 2, 2008
Its an excellent tool and works on the fly, thank you. It also solved the various problems with playing .flv files. And I like the documentation. It's very detailed, understandable and structured.

Wonderful job and a small problem I met by simonlens, March 24, 2008
It's such a wonderful plugin! I love JW FLV Media Player very much and can't believe I can use it in Joomla!

It's amazing! And thank you Fritz for your every effort!

I have a small problem when using it: The video and audio can works perfectly in normal pages, but when I publish them in my blog(view from blog type), the player can't show up normally, but show the tags that I put in the contect of the article. For example, it exactly show as "{audio}images/mp3/201-The Change Inside of Me.mp3{/audio}", not a player. I don't know it's the problem of blog, or the plugin!

I just love it!

Owner's reply:
This is neither a bug in AVR nor in your blog. Instead, it is a restriction of the method how content plugins are handled in Joomla 1.5:

Content-plugins are invoked *only* for *regular* content, not for content in "other" modules. In order to overcome this restriction, AVR provides a programming API which can be used by authors of other modules to enable that functionality. The API is documented on the Demo site.

Good One by pippo_jedi, March 15, 2008
I was looking for a plug-in / module to show multimedia on the website I manage: the installation is painless and it works straight out of the box. I had a problem about visualization but the author answered me in no time giving me the right advice.
Thank you!

Does not show in IE by jimmyz, March 14, 2008
Be warned that this player shows up in Firefox fine, but does not show up in IE7. It's a good plugin aside from this fact.
I don't think it shows on Macs either.

Owner's reply:
Well, it does here. I have tested it with IE6, IE7 (the next version even with IE8beta), FF and Opera. This might be some problem with your Flash-ActiveX installation. Visit the support forum and I might be able to help.
