Linkr - The Article Linker
This extension lets you quickly link to articles in your Joomla! site when you are creating content. You can either search for your article with the search box, or find it by selecting the section and category. It's easy to install and use. I installed it in joomla 1.5.6. It works good with my tinyMCE 2.0. Pretty easy to find and link articles. My system is SEO enabled and the link this extension produced did not conflict with my system. In other word, this extension produce search engine friendly urls. Thanks again for the extension. |

The core function is great. Highly useful.
The two bonus features aren't useful for me for the following reasons:
- The related links feature links to the same article being displayed though.
- The "default bookmarks" feature doesn't seem to allow to automatically put a tag before the bookmarks which means they show up too close to the text above them. Owner's reply: You can fix up the bookmarks using CSS styles. See "Administrator > Components > Linkr > Documentation > Bookmarking" |

It's always amusing when I explain to someone how to create a hyperlink to an article. It's usually followed by a shrug of the shoulders while they point out the obvious and explain to me why this feature should be a standard feature. uh duh!
This works as expected and should be on your list of primary installs. |

This extension is so useful, and works so well, you wonder why it's not included into the CMS core.
I'm running a complex website, and well often need to create content with links to other articles ... Linkr is un-replaceable.

Great extension! Core linking functionality performs like a charm. I agree with all those who say that this should be part of core, especially to help on the front-end for non-expert authors!

Very useful to quickly link article in another articles !
i like the "related articles" function too, but it will be better to have the choice to active or not the display for the article in front end of the website. |

We've been using this extension now on our sites for a few months, and absolutely love it. It has now become a core extension that we install on all of our clients websites to make quick additions and links to their content.
A must have for any developer, freelancer, or general website owner. Even the casual blogger. Can't wait till Version 2 is stable to try it out. |
