I would like to have given this component a great review. It looked so promising so I decided to give it a go. Unfortunately it was a mess. Not only does it overwrite critical virtumart files but it does not uninstall itself. Leaving one to have to revert to a backup to get their site working again. They do give you fair warning however but for new joomla users it could be a disaster. Test only on a demo server, not your live site. Once installed the component which is available only after registering did not work. No ratings, no module,empty boxes with no apparent functions,attributes which should have been carried over once a recipient made his list left the purchaser having to fill this info in all over again. To make matters worse the the paid "support" is dubious at best. The demo which one must ask and wait and wait to get the password,to access worked just as I had tested it. BROKEN So I wonder does support include fixing this half working component or what? When I inquired about this I received no reply. None nada zip. Either this company does not need the business, does not care or maybe they are hoping you will just pay and hope for the best. I would have been happy paying for this so called "support", but I am surely not going to shell out a cent until I see a working functioning demo and a get a reply to my questions. Any reply would have sufficed. In conclusion I say do not waste your time on this component or this company. It really is a shame because it is a much needed component in the joomla community.

This is truly an excellent extension works very simply and easy to install and use. I am working with one site and search that type of component. This component is vary helpful for me & also save my time.

I have to give it an average rating. It looks very promising, but when trying out the demo, I registered, created a registry, and then logged out. I then tried to search for the registry - didn't work. It asks for the e-mail of the registry owner, I tried 5 times and got, "No registries found" all 5 times.

It's got potential and is a much needed feature for Virtuemart. I would like to make a couple of suggestions:

1. After adding something to the registry, it takes you to your registry, but from there, it's awkward getting back to the shop. There should be a "Continue Browsing" button/link/whatever there for easy navigation.

2. I hope the layout/look of the mod is just because of using the default template. If not, needs to be improved to look "pretty".

3. An AJAX "Add to Registry" effect would be nice. On one of my sites, there's twenty different combinations of colors/sizes etc.. on one page. A customer will never take all that time to add exactly what they want, so it wouldn't be beneficial to me anyway.

Just some feedback, but like I said, it looks very promising. Keep up the good work.
