Not supported and many bugs by flip, August 22, 2008
I was very excited to finally try this product. It looks great, seems to be well coded, and yet... there are so many bugs I wouldn't know where to start.
I posted questions and tickets on their site and after 2 weeks, nothing. In fact, their forum is not moderated and flooded with spam.

Here goes my $250... :(

Bottom line: it looks like they simply abandoned the project.

I am a developer and I hacked this thing left and right and still didn't get close.

It has so much potential... if only there was somebody on the line!

I don't want to appear negative in any way about this product but if you buy it and it's not the cheapest out there, be prepared for some fire fighting!

It is buggy but if you are a developer you will find yourself around the code in no problem (not like other vendors that encode everything and you have to put up with it).

This is a great product that fits in with joomla niceley and I like the fact the that the developers have kept the joomla theme, by this I mean not using large flashy icons that look silly and using every page as an advertising banner. If you want a component to look professional then this is leading by example.

Yes the bugs are a pain and if I'm honest it doesn't look like it was tested properly because the bugs really are minor things that should be picked up in the first phase of any testing cycle.

I've not tested the support yet and that is the real proof that these guys are serious, but I'm confident that this is a serious component and probably the best of it's kind yet for joomla.

I just spent a half an hour on the demo server testing all the functionality but got error after error when converting leads and creating invoices. It would be great if the demo could be updated. And if you offered a money-back guarantee...

This software is nowhere near ready for use in a production environment. The developer claims the documentation for this product has been "almost ready" for over 4 months now. The bugs are too numerous and too severe. I have to cut my losses and move on to another component, but new users should be warned before making the mistake of purchasing jForce.

The overall interface looks very nice however the linking and development is still in it's infancy. If you are looking for a nice integrated contact manager then it will be nice. However if you are looking for time tracking ability and online billing like I was then this system is not for you. I bought it last week and they won't refund it because I had downloaded it.

Give their product another year of development and then check it out. Anyone with any questions about it or comments can email me.

This component is phenomenal! We were looking for a ticket system, billing solution, contact base, and this was BY FAR the best one, after trying several others. It is definitely money well spent.

Dave at extreme joomla gave immediate support to our needs, and we are beyond pleased with this purchase. jForce is definitely the way to go.

Wow, if this isn't one of the most needed extensions for Joomla. I've tried a number of billing systems and open source support ticket systems but to think that something that covers both is now a Joomla component. Kudos to the developers of this one and kudos again for having such a nice forum. This product looks very promising.

I don't usually write reviews,this time is different...I feel this program is brilliant.
At it's core is the intergration of 4 business processes that your clients, or indeed yourself could help change the shape of how you run your business. This may sound a bit "over the top" but it isn't.
The application is beta, but it's so good that you wouldn't know it. The measure of anything inovative is how does it works and what the support like when you are in the "S***"
I had problems with 2 basic issues that I needed to fix before I spent any further time on the development of the application into my own business. One issue was "globalization" I needed it able to run in the UK. The other was some minor point, Jforce support, in particular Brian solved my problems without any fuss.
Take it from me I persoanally recommend this extension to anyone. The price is not only fair, but is a "giveaway" in comparison to the money it can save your clients and your own business.
I'm going to be running my whole business online thanks to JForce.

A Blindman riding by on a white horse could see the potential of this extension. Well done to the developers, I hope you are rewarded for your work in generating and maintaining this extension. I for one will be watching everything you do!

Perfect for my needs by dreamking, May 14, 2008
Was looking for a billing solution for my web design business and it was this component that brought me to installing joomla for the first time. Been looking for something like this for a long long time. Thank you for whoever built this system and thank God for Joomla!

I'm currently using jforce on joomla 1.5 and it's working as described. They do need to provide better documentation though but the support forum for this product has been exceptional to say the least. Since I was unfamiliar with Joomla to begin with, one of the staff members installed this for me and installed the additions to make everything work. Thank you!

I'd like to add that my server was having problems with the #2 release from the suite and with their support we discovered that the issues were related to php4. I emailed my host and updated to php5 and everything it working well now.

Overall very please with the support received and even more pleased on the discovery of the joomla software.

I'd like to thank justin at extremejoomla.com for going way above the call of duty to help a newbie out. Looking forward to the new site

I have been using this for almost 3 weeks now, installation and setup went fine without problems.
And it was a great addition and helps me out keep track on things.
Im just waiting for the stable release and will upgrade to that asap.

There are too many bugs to write about. This product should not be on the market for public consumption. I'll touch on a couple of absolutely fundamental things that make this vaporware.

First, how can you trust anything about a program when you look at the dashboard and the section headings do not even reflect the data presented below them? It may read "Latest Contacts" but it is nothing more than a list starting with the first one you entered. Then when you view your contacts, you can't even sort by column headings - even Access lets you sort.

Second, click a button, let's say "Documents" in Contact details, and you end up in the vast, far corner of come other module. Whatever you think you're doing in this program, you're probably not, because the ends do not meet. You create a trouble ticket? Good luck managing it in any meaningful way. When you update a ticket, expect to receive multiple empty email messages.

I do not trust a single field or function in this program and have no way of trusting how it interacts with other Joomla! components.

The risks that this program presents make it worth less than $0. Use at your own, and more importantly, your customers' risk.

We were never contacted by this individual to offer any support. Several references listed in their review are incorrect. Documents are not linked to a Contact. Documents are associated with projects and tasks. This is apparently the result of an incomplete understanding of the software. We are more than happy to work with any customer that has questions and we offer strong support and communications. Additional features are being constantly added and bugs are consistently fixed as they are found. Currently jForce 1.5 is in RC2 stage meaning it is still considered a beta product. Again, our support forums and one-on-one customer service can help resolve any issues experienced.

Just what the webmaster ordered. I have to say that this suite of components looks to be very promising indeed and the support has been second to none.

I've been watching this component for several months now because I've truly needed a CRM for my Joomla web development business and now it's available. As a webmaster, this suite gives me an advantage over my competition because of the added value it provides for my clients. Originally the 1.0 version of the suite is what I was looking at but with the developers working on Joomla 1.5, I decided to make the switch myself and glad I did. The currently lifetime membership availability is well worth the $$ so long as the project is not abandoned. Based on their new forums and bug tracking and the level of community involvement, I can't imagine that the time and effort going into this would be abandoned.
