With this component you can do so many different tasks in Joomla that we are not able to descibe them all.
What is this?
The Multisites Site Manager Component can:
- automatic create new subsites
- do the admin for the main and all subsites from one menu
- use one or more databases (one is default)
- enroll/unenroll registered users for all or selected subsites
- use CSV for batch functions chose to display a list of all subsites for registered/not registered users
Why use it?
Creating new sites is done very quickly - we all know the feeling, when uploading all the Joomla! files - quite boring (at least 7 cups of coffee). And even the configuration.php, which is the main issues in doing new sites, are done automatically.
The user and content admin of all sites can be done from a menu in the component - easy, quick and efficient!!
For small or larger web sites functions including:
- users import and delete
- sites import and delete
- enroll/unenroll users
- SINGLE LOGIN FEATURE
- multi copy of selected database tables between sites multi copy of selected folders/files between sites
- and much, much, much more...........
And the batch functions are a must and can really make the administrator a happy man!! e.g. Universities, Colleges and Schools having their classes in a CSV file or companies using several web sites or intranets.
Or just for ordinary people who want to have a new Joomla installation done in a sec.

This is NOT a multiple site manager as mentioned below, it is a site cloner and a poor one at that. This will only work if you have no other plugins, modules, or components installed and will work only with clean or very basic joomla installations.
The ability to manage multiple sites with one login and synchronize users for multiple sites is a real pain. This keeps only the one super administrator username and password the same for each. I ended up having to MANUALLY synchronize the usernames and passwords of the users that requested to log into the site.
This plugin also damaged my original site quite a bit because of its poor programming.
I would assume that a paid-for component would work smoothly with other simple and popular joomla extensions, but it doesn't. This is why I think it should be free because it is buggy.
I kick myself in the teeth everytime I have to return to this customer to fix all of his issues because I could've created my own CMS with all of the features that I need in less time and headache than it took me to setup joomla with this extension and rip through the extension's logic to try and make it work with the site I have been working with.
Unless you don't use other Joomla extensions and want very simple joomla sites cloned, STAY AWAY FROM THIS EXTENSION. |

This should be called site copy and nothing more. If one actually wants to MANAGE their subsites more modules from the developers are necessary. Want to sync users and not just copy once? new module needed. Want to manage content over more than one site? new module needed.
Please rename this to site cloner because it does nothing more . This is done well but dont fall for it if you want to actually manage more than one site. Owner's reply: The included functionality is described and can be reviewed beforehand.
In fact, synchronising users is a feature that is included.
We respect your opinion about the name but believe that this should not lead to a negative review (as you seem to agree that it does it's job well). |

this component fits exactly my needs to duplicate one page to another subdirectory. im new to joomla and i thought i will have a lot of problems. but no - the opposite! click, click finish! :) there are also very nice tutorial movies on the developer homepage which are easy to understand also for me with my poor english. the developer answers questions very fast and with a lot of patience. i can recommend this component to everyone. its every cent worth! |

I am using Joomla/Mambo since the begining of the project and the componets from this developers are always bug free.They do what they promise and more.The dev team is always going out of line to help their customer.I am using Their Multisite manager and CB user sync and I can tell you that this components are worth every penny!

Faced with the task of having to create individual joomla sites for a class of pupils, this component is a real time saver. It has made my task a doddle!
The tutorials are really easy to follow and the extension is put together in such a way that it is simple enough for a beginner to use and yet sophisticated enough to provide the expert with several options to tweak the installation. I am looking forward to being able to becoming one!
I particularly like the facility to bulk import users and then associate individual pupils with particular sites. It is also very good that you can create a list of subsites available to a given user.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this extension to anyone who wants to host several joomla installations on the same site.
I like this component so much that this is the second review I have written, the other one has disappeared in the ether! |

This package flat out works! Simple installation, Simple to use, Powerful applications.
These guys have done a wonderful job building fantastic applications that extend the usability and usefulness of Joomla.
Great tutorials on their site that show you exactly how to use the software. I am very excited to use the entire package.

I found that support was quick and painless for us. We contacted the developer by email and not more than a few hours later we got a response.
The product has saved us days of time by allowing us to manage multiple sites at one time. The added packages you can get with a Bundle from their site also give the perfect integration. If you need any help there are also really useful tutorial videos on their site. |

..So we had the idea, but needed the right software and we found it here. We can create now 100 web sites with several clicks.

This is a wondefull tool for managing many sites (on one server) no FTP built in, yet. It works great for adding users and deploying modules, database tables, components or templates to any connected site.
Even use to setup a new site. A must have for a hosting business. |
