This module allows one to add custom HTML into any module position. Simply create your custom HTML in an article and then specify the article in the module configuration. You can choose whether or not to load the mootools javascript library depending on whether it is required for that module or not. Currently in Beta status.

This module is absolutely brilliant. USed in conjunction with DirectPHP it means that you can include custom PHP code in your Joomla modules, giving unrivaled flexibility to your CMS.

In J1.5 already installed ! by JJ426, April 25, 2008

Every Joomla 1.5 has a Custom HTML module already installed. Go to MODULES, click on NEW and choose CUSTOM HTML. ;) I guess there is no need to install this one.

Obsolete? by petervanwesten, April 11, 2008

Isn't this just already a feature in Joomla itself. You can just make a new module and choose Custom HTML.

Excellent extension, but... by bitje, March 16, 2008
This extension is wonderful and easy to use.
You can even select your article from a list, so no need for entering the article ID. Excellent!!

One disadvantage is that it strips the "read more" link
Is this a bug? If not, please add the possibility to have "read more" links.

uff ... by maraggos, March 10, 2008
thanks God somebody thought to a small but intriguing 1.5 limitation ! It works perfectly !
Thanks
Alberto

The only way to get content_plugins to work in a module! by infograf768, February 21, 2008
Thanks Ian,
you made my day and this will be a must for 1.0.x users switching to 1.5.x

Note: for people not aware, the HTML module (was Custom module in 1.0.x) does not fire content plugins as it used to do in 1.0.x.
By using this Custom Content module, one can load an Article containing calls to content plugins, thus overpassing this 1.5 limitation.

:)

Very nice module! by hundertrodriguez, February 20, 2008
Tested it in various module positions and it works like a charm!
That's exactly what i've been looking for.
