Amazon Associates Web Service Component
The component integrates the Amazon Associates Web Service completely into Joomla with shopping cart, product details, customer reviews etc. So you can earn some money with your website. 9 out of 10 times your Amazon Associate ID is used for ordering. This version 1.0. only works for DE locale.

Great component...but useless for most of us by JustinB, November 26, 2008
Its a great component for sure but the fact that you can only use it with .de amazon associates program renders it pretty much useless for the rest of the world including myself.

The developers might want to consider expanding on this to include all amazon associate programs or at least allowing others to do it by providing unencrypted files.

Does Not Work In The U.S. by krackerjax, June 4, 2008

This wouldn't be too bad if it actually pulled the information from amazon.com instead of .de. So, I figured I would look at the coding and try to modify it to work with Amazon.com. Nope! All the PHP files are encoded with IonCube. So much for Open Source.
