Ninja Redirect
The simplest and easiest way to keep visitors moving to where they should be!

Designing a good site which reacts to the status of a user is a tough task. Sometimes they try to go places they shouldn't either via book marks, or if they know you have a joomla site by manually typing in the url for the component they want to find!

If you have a website which has differences in layout or menus between logged in and logged out users you may want to hide some pages from certain users without showing them ugly messages saying they can't view the page, or that they need to register instead of just sending them straight to the registration page or login page.

This sort of skipping around will cost you users as they come up against brick walls in your site.

Or you may be the owner of a demo site and want a simple way to prevent users from registering or accessing off limits pages.

Welcome to Ninja Redirect.

Just place this module in the page(s) you want to hide and then forward your visitors to your signup page or any other that you choose, on or off your site.

Keep a clean flow through your site instead of brick walls which cause visitors to leave.

Try it out!

A great way to secure content by denniskmetz, May 20, 2008
At the Ninja sige Ninja Redirect is FREE... with a full GPL license, so I am a bit confused why the extension library indicates Silver Memebership is needed. Anyway...

This is the BEST product I could find (and I tried a lot) that allowed me to fence off the various different "special" user groups from viewing content.

Until Joomla! 1.6 becomes available I recommend using this extension if you need to have different user groups with access authority to different content. You just set up the mod_ninja_redirect module to any menu item that you want to restrict, create a content message like "sorry you do not have authroity to view this content" and that's all there is. You can copy the module and have it on multiple menu items for multiple levels of access.

Thanks for this great tool...
