 JoomSuite Member is a full featured component that allows to create a website based on subscriptions. Works with Joomla 1.5. You can restrict whatever you need: any section or action of any component. I have purchased most of there scripts and would like to say to repeat one of the reviewers here, these products are still in beta, and documentation is missing. Setup is also, a bit confusing. But, once setup and working, and with quick responses to support questions, and products that enhance one of the best products Joomla. I have to rate this component high. |

I had been looking for an extension to handle subscription based 'Pay to View' content for some time when I came across JoomSuite Member. It appeared to be just what I was looking for so I invested my money and downloaded it. Real easy to install. As previous user stated, the configuration looks complicated as there is just SOOOO much you can do with it. Tatyana in customer support is helpful, reliable, knowledgable and quick to respond.
With regards my own configuration, I sent my brief to JoomSuite staff telling them what content should be pay to view, what subscription plans I wanted and what payment methods. Their staff came into the site, configured everything and the whole thing was up and running on my site in less than two hours - Pay to View content, Subscription Plan, total interface with PayPal, etc. Highly recommended. |

I like this product very much. I would like it even more if I understood how to fully harness it's potential! The available documentation is totally inadequate for someone who is a total newbie (like me). There are loads of parameters with no guidance whatsoever on how to set them up. Virtually no information in their on-line FAQs. On line support may be very good but is inconvenient and shouldn't be necessary just to make the product work. |

I like this component cause it has good interface & online support at skype is excellent. She solves all issues politely & immediately.
It's using encoding script in licence files which I don't lie cause I want to keeep every thing open & fair but this world is full of cheaters so the vendor has no other option to take some majors to stop piracy.
It's a great useful component thoug I'll like if it has an inbuilt invoicing system or made competible to other invoice components. The vendor are working on to make it joomsuite Bill competible & they had put already a field in this component but this field is not working & is for future this thing should be told by tool tip so that user might not get confused & go to support for solution.

I downloaded this component and while installation was straightforward I could not get the discount coupon field to show in the subscriptiion plan. Following a visit to the JoomSuite Member forum the support team quickly identified the problem lay with the template I was using and resolved another small issue which I was responsible for.
Great support and customer focus. The system works and does exactly what it says. |

I really don't understand how anyone could possibly downgrade this component. Although there are some steps to ensure usability at the front end of installation, once those hurdles are passed by, this system simply works. And there is no doubt in my mind that this company will have a stable version out soon. They respond to any and all issues in good time and have developed a very intuitive system.
Now if only they would add more than two variables for component restriction, we would be cookin with grease.
For those hesitating to go with this software because of its level of development. Don't. It is worth your $. |

This is a beta version of their software. When I first used it I encountered a few minor glitches. Over time they have polished the extension and I believe that the first non beta will be out soon.
I use this to provide access and payment to video events. I use a combination of what this tool offers and some extra programming to provide custom functionality. My website is live and uses this extension to manage revenue.
The support is fantastic. It is second to none. I have the tendency to wait until the last minute to report problems or the bad luck to have things break in the worst moments. The developers have been so kind as to answer my support questions live through skype and Internet messaging in hours where most people would be sleeping.
This app is a beta and because of this I give it 4 stars. When the final version comes out I will probably give it 6 out of 5. |

I bought the component because AES did not work for me and use it along with the community builder (running Joomla 1.5 in legacy mode).
The installation and customization was easy and mostly self-explanatory.
We are using recurring payment plans for our subscriptions (using Paypal as a payment processor), and JoomSuite Member handles them easily, whereas other componentes around obviously often lack this capability.
I had a small problem with subscription plans at first and contacted their (very nice and friendly) support, and they solved it within 45 minutes!
Ioncube did not appear to be a problem, since you can place the neccessary files in your directory structure if it's not installed on your server.
All in all, imho it's a great component, and although you have to pay for the full version, you can use a trial license first to test if it runs on your system. |

Ok this was a great component until the fact of using ion cube (which is a way for developers to encrypt their code, i understand the purpose but some hosting companies do not support ion cube), for instance, godaddy.com hosting users cant use this component.
But this is a great component, but its a pain why you buy something and you do not get access to everything even if you want to modify it you cant... no luck!
They also lack forums on their site, (though they say they will have it) so support is ok, i did contact them and they do reply fast...
Lot of potential, i would even pay more for a non-ion cube version... but oh well... that was my two cents... |
