As requested by many people, I created a first simple graphical interface to make the use of the Joomla! Access Control Plugin easier. Notice that you need to install both the Joomla! Access Control Plugin and this component to make the Access Control mechanism working on your platform. Thanks to this plugin you don't need to manual edit the database anymore. Instead, you can use the administration panel to create/delete groups, to associate users to one or more groups and to manage user permissions. The only thing you are supposed to do now is to follow the instructions at my web page to create components that are compliant with this simple but powerful access control mechanism. I've not too much free time at this moment, so if someone could empower this graphical interface (maybe adding some nice Ajax operations, like drag and drop and so on), please contact me. I'm going to realize a screencast in which I show how to use of my component and plugin and how to create a simple safe component for your Joomla! platform, so just be patient and keep in touch with my homepage ;)
