InewsFlash is simple and easy to use Joomla news flash module. It is free for everyone. It simply does the fading effects for transitioning from from news to another. This includes words or images or mixture of both. Support: a forum will be setup for that. Currently please send email to us via

This is a good one by vipyammer, March 31, 2008

Thanks for this one. Very simpel to install and very useful.

One change we have made! Namely changed the interval setting (mod_inewsflash.js)
from
setTimeout('playNextSlide()', interval * 1000);
to
setTimeout('playNextSlide()', interval * 3000);

Again...Thanks for this one...

Need a bit more polishing by deafbiz, March 31, 2008

It can be a very useful module if polished.

1) Add an option to time the rotation. In other words, instead of using rotation timing by default, I'd like to know if I want to make it go slower or faster (actually, slower in my case).

2) I selected option of "no image" and it still showed images.

3) An option to determine size and layout of the module. When I tested mind, it either pushed the content down or was over the content so there's no consistency.

Thanks a lot for pointing out these drawbacks. Adding a time of the rotation is a good idea! thanks a lot of that!
