I paid for this plugin, and followed all instructions for download. But I was never sent the download link. The only link provided kept directing me to the site where it said I had to confirm my email subscription, which I did.

Every single email address I found related to this site did not work. The support link on the site was also a 404 error. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Easy, cheaper and perfect! Don´t render the content between the tag´s.

This is a great plugin which hides the presentation of sections of articles on a website.

However, sections restricted to registered users are still available to RSS readers and other plugins that reproduce the article data (emailers are another category) They do not respect the reg tag and therefore present all the data in its full glory to everyone ... be warned.

Otherwise a fantastic lightweight plugin.

I would have given this extension a better rating if it supported PDF’S and if the author actually understood the GPLv2.0 licence.
If you have PDF enabled for the document any user logged in or not can see the hidden content within a PDF. This is a major bug as far as I am concerned.
My other problem is with the distribution of this GPLv2.0 licensed product. While I don’t mind paying for it, I do mind being presented with a statement on the authors download page that tells me the extension is for my own personal use and I cannot distribute it. This is a clear breach of the GPLv2.0 licence. Obviously the author cannot change the licence for the current version which as it stands allows anyone to modify and distribute the extension. However If the author wishes to protect future versions of this extension I would suggest they take look at an alternative licence.

My aim was to protect the text content from the non-registered users and so I have created a plugin following my requirements. And it does that well..



I'll surely look into enabling the pdf security, if time permits.



Regarding the license, - you "cannot" distribute it.

Nice extension. Does what it's supposed to, and with a little creativity, gives you a lot of control over content.

It would be nice if you could control the auto-text that appears on public pages when there is registered-hidden content, through parameters. Easy enough to edit in code, but that could be moved to parameters as a nice feature. For example, I wanted just a link to the login page, with no link to the register page (which is the default action).

It's like RokAccess however it only supports the hiding of content to non-members... So it's not possible to show content for non-members but not for members.

5 stars for the module as it is, but if this module supported:

{ non-reg } non-member content {/ non-reg }

That would be even better!

Works like a charm. Just install, enable, and add the code. Wham bam thank you mam! The only thing that would make this better is if the text that shows linked to the registration page.

This little guy can save you lots of time and effort. No need to "duplicate" content. Just add the syntax, and those you want to "see" can, while those you don't want to see "can't".

This component is amazing, just what i needed most for my site's reserved area. Two thumbs up.
