This mambot, even when unpublished, writes into the meta data of every page! It tags stuff like "mini-mp3 player, mp3, mmp3, jahoart" etc into your keywords.
A complete uninstall was required to make it stop, although I assume you could go in and edit the code to make it stop. |

i just bought the licensed version - bit confused as to how/when im going to get it mind...
anyway the non-comercial version seems simple enough to use - although im still getting the click to activate box around the buttons - unlike on the demo version???
the support site is a little confusing/frustrating to navigate in german/english...
would be cool to have a playlist feature...
all in all pretty pleased with it so far! good work - thanks! |

Great plugin to display an Audio file inside your content without allowing the visitors download access.
A better centering and positioning control will be a major plus.

This plugin is conceptually great: easy to install, simple to use, and discrete in application. Unfortunately it doesn't scale well for multiple instances. I'm running a site with a moderate amount of streaming audio files, as part of my online porfolio. However, once a single file steam has been triggered in mmp3, there is no way stop that file from streaming all the way to the end, regardless of whether or not the user has continued to listen to the stream, or instead stopped it and moved on to the next stream. I find on my site that if I want to survey the various songs I have posted, that after about 3 or 4 selections, not only am I unable to get streaming audio out of subsequent choices, but I am also unable to navigate to the rest of my sight. Instead, my browser informs me that it is busy transfering data from the server, even if I am no longer listening to any of the audio streams I initiated. I visited the demo site for this plugin to see if I had failed to implement it correctly, however I encounter the same problem on their site. Not being a native german speaker, I'm uncertain how to get tech support for the mod...so much as I want to use it, I'm afraid it will have to go. |

This plugin couldn't be easier. Install it and pop the text into your content item. You have to be careful of a few other mp3 players out there that state they "stream". This one DOES.. at least, I can't find where it may be putting a temp mp3 file on my hard drive. That is important for my site because streaming is crucial. Thank Ute, a great job!!

Improvements?
1. The ability to stop other streams (I have several of these plugins on same page) - I would love to see the ability for one to stop all others from playing.
