mfDropCaps
A drop cap is an effective way to jazz up articles on your website. It'll make your site look a bit more professional. There are several CSS techniques to achieve this, but some are not cross-browser compatible and it doesn't support every font.

mfDropCaps replaces every first character of your article or paragraph with a beautiful drop cap by showing an image of the character. This technique is SEO-proof and you can create your own font by changing the images provided by mfDropCaps

Want to add beautiful drop caps to your Joomla! articles? mfDropCaps is the solution!

Works ok... by stutteringp0et, April 21, 2008
if you're not using jquery elsewhere. This plugin hoses modal boxes when enabled.

Would be great otherwise.

Nice Plug In by faezil, April 17, 2008
Great Plug in !!!

it's does not apear when I use JoomlaFCK as my editor. This is because JoomlaFCK does not use tag .

But to me... its ok.. so that I can choose where I want to appear the drop caps... as some of my posting like for the advertisment or static content is not necessary to use drop caps
