This is an excellent module. A tip, when you're entering data push tab between fields to get the search text to load at the bottom. I had probs with it in Explorer loading in new items. And it would be nice if you could create your own categories, like a region, and assign a marker to that category. All round good though.

I installed this component and got some error messages, as it expected me to have the French language installed as well. Other than that, it worked as advertised. Very easy to install and configure. I was so impressed, that I just provided the author with a german translation!
My only comment is: no documentation, other than what's on this page. As a result, I havn't figured out what "Options" means in the configuration and how to make effective use of them. Maybe somebody could add that.

Having utilised some of the other Google Maps components out there I really thought that one location and a mediocre directions bubble was the only thing cosmetically possible. I love the way you can right click in configuration to generate your co-ordinates, add various markers onto a single map, and add sub maps to individual content items/articles. I could not use this commercially mainly because it does not contain a directions parameter, but if you could add this I would be willing to pay pounds shillings and pence for this. Please contact m if you are planning to develop this and would like some beta testing doing. Summary: Fantastic!!

I've tried this component and the plugin and had no problem. Everything went ok. I think it would be great if it could be connected to the contacts section, as an extension to their current business contacts.
