Joomla's2Go! 1.5.x - Standalone Joomla! Builds
###080813### Upgraded to Joomla! 1.5.6 [Vusani] officialy released last August,12 2008 + configured JA_Purity template by default. Joomla1.5.6 is a security release to address a high level security issue over Joomla! 1.5.5 [Mamni] and it is recommended all users upgrade immediately.

###080811### Users request: Optimized build-in Firefox 3.0.1 Portable to open with maximized window & Tabs always visible.
###080729### New Update: To Joomla! 1.5.5 [MAMNI] + Firefox Portable 3.0.1 build-in as the browser by default.
###080716### New update: To Joomla! 1.5.4 [NAIKI]
###080619### New Update: Firefox 3.0 Portable from PortableApps.com built-in by default
###080612### New Update - built-in as a new Joomla's2Go! package: Upgraded to Server2Go 1.6.0 version, with Joomla! 1.5.3 [Vahi]. New Language Packs, backend & Frontend, added to the Joomla! compilation: - English, Catalan, Spanish, German, German informal, French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.)

- Joomla's2Go! is a pre-built compilation of Joomla! with Server2Go from Mr. Timo Haberkern (Visit Server2Go website at http://www.server2go-web.de/ ). Joomla's2Go! is recommended for novice and advanced Joomla! users and for Joomla! developers. Just download the ZIP file, extract it to your PC and run the "Server2Go.exe" file. After few seconds you will get your Joomla! running inside an Internet Explorer window!!. Joomla´s2Go! is configured by default as local standalone server but should runn from CD-ROM, DVD, USB Portable Disk, too with few changes in the "pms_config.ini" file. You will have no problems with drive letters (normally X:/) in your Windows Explorer and no conflicts with the port 80 that sometimes have conflict with other applications (ej. Skype). Visit our site for more information where we explain how to import/export your site from and to Joomla's2Go!. How to secure your MySQL databases and the needed configurations for running multiple copies of Joomla's2Go! in your PC, locally, or from a CD/DVD. I hope you will enjoy it!

Works Out of the Box! by final, August 27, 2008
Joomlas2Go works just as promised. I started with JoomlaPC but that did not work for some reason. (As a php dummy I don't have the knowlege to find out why). Easy to edit (with good notes inside the file) pms_config.ini to meet your preferances such as IE instead of Firefox etc. Thumbs up for this one.

Let's keep it simple by AndrewSmith, April 28, 2008

For the simple love of all good things Joomla, I appeal to the author to not require user registration in order to download. All you're going to end up with is a bunch of user logins that are used once only. Oh, and a web site in English (even if only an option) would also be nice.

Thanks for your words.

Just to inform you that the site: http://www.joomlas2go.net is now fully translated to English, too.
