ARI Tabs component allows user to open different web pages/widgets/Joomla components inside Joomla! using handy tabs. There are 3 types of pages user can open:
* External web pages: any web pages in Internet or intranet. User can open such pages to browse the web.
* Predefined widgets: ARI Tabs component contains a number of predefined internet-based widgets such as e-mail, instant messengers (Google talk, Yahoo!, MSN, AIM), weather, games, news, date and time, search engines, file browser, rich editor, calendar, web photos, currency converter, stock quote, RSS tools, dictionaries and many others. These widgets are handful to be used in tabs. Administrator can add/remove/modify widgets.
* Components - components that are installed in Joomla. User can open, refresh, close tabs, give titles for tabs. List of opened tabs can be saved/restored in association with Joomla! user.

ARI Tabs component comes with built-in ARI I18N support, which means that you can easy internationalize your component, change messages of the user interface and create different locales. ARI Tabs component uses AJAX technology to load tabs so it does not require any page reloads.
