Good from Far, Far from Good by camotec, June 9, 2008
This is my first bad review of an extension and not really bad but 1 thing made me not use this piece of software.

The good stuff is that it is a quick file manager and you can upload files etc. and if it wasn't for this one thing i would be using it as I like the interface over all other file managers.

It does not overwrite files?? if I upload a modified file or a new picture into a theme which is replacing an old pictures or graphic of the same name I would want to overwrite the file but instead of asking that question the program simply tells me that the file already exists?

It Installed With No Problems by subfighter, May 27, 2008
I tried Extplorer for 1.5.3 the latest release and it gave me errors upon the install. i read the forum and tried to remove some file repack and install and the same thing...

So I gave up.. Quixplorer why not having as much features as Extplorer it worked and installed with no problem so I give it a good rating because it worked..

Didn't Install for me by mpf101112, May 15, 2008
I couldn't get it to install. I'm sure it was a permission problem but I couldn't figure out the correct ones and I couldn't find any documentation or anything to tell me what they should have been. tried 755 and 777 but nothing worked.

Must be integrated with Joomla! by lestat_ti, May 14, 2008
Why Joomla don't had a simple extension like this integrate??? This is EXCELLENT
may be simple but do the work best and faster than any other do.

It installs, it works! Bravo for 1.0! by revjb, May 12, 2008
I was having the same problems with Extplorer for 1.5.3 as others and QuiXplorer required none of the hassles of said product. I just made sure the tmp, components, admin/components had the correct rw privilege and the component was installed and ready to go. Kudos!

It works... and installs by crockford, May 7, 2008

Not only does it work but it installs. I have tried and tried to install eXtplorer but without any luck. I was afraid that I would have to live without an admin side file manager. This installs nicely and works, taking care of all the permission problems that arise after installing a component.
