Updated !!!!
1. Added two module parameter to control first messages shown, and messages del.
2. Fixed some bugs over database maintenance.
3. Shrink the code, to fit more to J.15.

Fixed Bugs:
1. IE javascript compatibility error.
2. CSS layout issue: output messages looks funny in order text-align (from ie).

Updated Ajax Shoutbox based on AJAX Shoutbox by RISP. This version was adopted from Ajax Shoutbox 1.2 from http://risperdal.student.utwente.nl.

Additional Notes:
* still need com_shoutbox from http://risperdal.student.utwente.nl to run correctly.
* using new Joomla! 1.5 language systems (English only) so com language can't no longer be used.
* independent default css file
* independent shoutbox javascript files

Work perfect when you logged in, great Job!!

But it will give a script error in IE when you logged out. If you are logged in page loaded succesfully. When this will be fixed we all satisfied with this shoutbox! thx

Apparently required prior installation of shoutbox and never really did fly right. Text was inconsistent and didn't always refresh right. Looked funny in my template. Thanks for trying. This is a much needed item for Joomla 1.5 but this one's not quite ready. Wish I knew how to help fix it.

You can try the new version of Zyuras Shoutbox v.2.0.3. I’ve added some bug fixed over it.
