I was impressed enough by the demo of this component to go and buy it.

However, upon installation in Joomla 1.5.6 I am presented with this message after installation:

"This component will not be active until you replace the default core Joomla file content controller file."

"...Overwrite the core joomla content file with the new controller file that is now stored in com_contentrevision"

Firstly, this component appears to require a core hack.
Secondly, the controller file versions supplied only go up to Joomla 1.5.5.

I'd hold off buying this until you've done your homework (like I should have).

I just bought that tool and installed it and
it's exactly what I looked for.
It logs all user changes and store a copy of the changed
artictle!
It was very easy to install - you only need to install and overwrite the controller.php and... voilá - there it is!

My customers are so happy, because sometimes the don't know,
who changed what article and now they can check it.

What a great component, does exactly what it says. I must admit that this is a must have if your website has many different Authors
and your content needs to be well controlled.
I love the feature that allows you too see the before and after changes plus the differences and the fact that you can see which user has changed what within the content,
makes this component very powerful.
I would not mind seeing something like this in the standard Joomla install.

This component did exactly what it said out of the box, no configuration problems no installation problems - everything runs smoothly!!

I have to say not many components do exactly what they say but this one does, i'm using it on 3 sites at the moment and no problems so far...

I had a question before buying the product - emailed them and got an answer within the hour...
