"User access" is new component for Joomla! Peckage including two mambots and one components.

You can set users access to category items.

After Install Insert To index.php and index2.php this line: $_MAMBOTS->trigger( 'onAfterlogin' ); after line $my = $mainframe->getUser();

Editor's Note:
  • The zip download should be opened and the bots/component from inside installed separately.

Problems... by birg, July 7, 2008
I followed the instructions and put the line in right place in both index and index2 files. And I have activated the mambots.

the result were blank pages, nothing worked, so I had to remove the line from index.php.

This component is very easy to use and very useful. Just upload it, add the code line as instructed and start using it. Basically, it allows the administrator to assign category viewing access to the website users. However, this all done manually.There is no default setting to assign certain viewing access rights on registering. So you have to go to each user and assign these rights individually. Great idea if you have a limited number of users. We will be waiting for any improvement to the default access rights.
Thanks for sharing it with the community.
