 Joomla component that automatically adds files from a directory to DOCman.
Features:
* Add thousands of files to DOCman in a few clicks!

works well except you can't currently include sub directories..we have over 300 folders containing PDF acrhives that need to be added to DOCMAN as downloads and until the developer includes the ability to assign sub directories this is next to useless for us.
So please help fund this component as it would be awesome if that feature worked. |

This component is excellent for me because it is a simple way to work around Docman's upload file size limit! (FTP files, see them in "MjazTools Autopopulate", and make doc's regardless of size!)
If you are going to have more then ten documents in your document library then download this component! |

No, I'm never completely satisfied. This comes close, but I wish it would be able to auto-create categories and categories within categories depending on the directory structure. Maybe I missed where to do this, but it would be very nice if this were a feature. Other than that, does what it says no problem! |

I've been struggling using remository for days to upload my document, but using this component and docman it only takes 1 hour to document all of my files (1000 files)in my site..

I had over 200 documents (music lead sheets) that I had previously made available on my site via FTP. Moving these files into docman the traditional way would have been very laborious, requiring multiple steps, typing in the file name, etc. This component saved me a bundle of time and works exactly as advertised. Thank you, Mjaz!!!! |
