The authentication manager framework gives the administrator the ability to use external authentication server (SSO) such as CAS, openid, AOL OpenAuth, Google AuthSub (when it will manage the userid), Microsoft Windows Live Contacts API, Yahoo BBAuth.
Actually, it supports Version 2 CAS external authentication server. The project have been designed to support any kind of external authentication server. Developers can use the CAS example to develop a new one.
