This module uses the MARQUEE tag to scroll the titles of the Content items (or static content, or both). User can set the Section/Category, speed of the "steps" (using size of the steps in pixels and frequency of the steps in miliseconds), direction of the scrolling and a "pause" between titles (defined as number of blank spaces inserted). All the titles are links to the appropriate items. The scrolling stops when user moves the mouse over the MARQUEE.

- v1.3 - enabled the user to set the number of loops from the backend & fixed the bug with opera (text wasn't looping in opera)
- v1.2 - changed the way items are showed, thus removed the need for the css file
- Added in v1.1:
mod_scroller.css - css file with definitions of classes used in the module.

Text Scroller Module by technoboyuk, July 21, 2008
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:
Was looking for a module to display one of my category titles and provide links to them, and this one fits the bill perfectly. The developer Dan has been most helpful and even sorted the module to fit in with my website CSS.

I would have given this module an excellent but for one issue which will hopefully be fixed on the next release. That is if more than 10 items are selected it does not display correctly, otherwise works as described, and the support from Dan has been excellent.

One very happy webmaster.

Owner's reply:
Check the newest version, there shouldn't be any issues now.

Best,

Dan
