My site has been running for about 1 year i have component installed that creates lots of data. my database was 80mb. Then i use MDB Optimize components. my database was only 65Mb.
That is just a great tool!

Can the same results be achieved with phpMyAdmin? I mean, isn't this the same procedure when executing the table optimization command in phpMyAdmin?

OPTIMIZE TABLE can bee use sql command or phpMyAdmin
