Perhaps I had my setting wrong, but I installed this mambot and it crashed my site. The problem would not disappear until I uninstalled it. I am running J. 1.0.13

Ok this is great plugin if your wanting to change the look of your dates and move them to the left, You definitely arent stuck leaving the date the way it looks now, you can make your dates look anyway you want with a little tweeking. Mark was immediately helpful to one small problem I had and had a fix for me the very same day. Great Support!

Loved this bot from the minute I installed it. It add that something extra to an otherwise boring screen focusing viewers eyes directly at the articles. Had big surprise when a friend loaded site on IE6 pre SP1 as the whole page just floated to the top of the screen :-) The mambot and my Rocket Theme template apparently didn't agree. Several hours later and the author had modified the mambot to include and option to to turn of calpage for older browsers. Great mambot, great support!

Works perfectly on the standard J! install date structures. Has a few issues with stuff like the a8e fork and other designer/accessibility projects though.

| Useful, but be careful with overlaps by designguru, November 27, 2006 |

I love the blog kitschyness of this bot but must warn people that because it is positioned absolutely by default, if you have categories listed underneath titles they will be hidden beneath the caldate div - solution: hack the core content to allow left-padding the category name or float the caldate div left (though this will push your contentpane right)

| Doesn't work with caching on by turbonium412, May 31, 2006 |
|
Apparently this bot doesn't work with the Cache in the global configuration enabled. When I turn the Cache on, the date appears in the regular format again instead of the caldate-Look. Otherwise I like it - anything that gives more flexibility in appearance and takes us away from the standard Joomla look is good.

| Very nice addition to any website. by td4, April 8, 2006 |

The calendar did not show the first time I installed it. With the great support at the authors website, I was able to fix the problem (which was in my CSS) and now the date looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend this bot to anyone and everyone. Thanks for contribution Mark!
