Exactly what i needed! But there is one function still missing. It cannot get categories from multiple sections. If it can function like this, i will surely buy it if necessary :)

I only needed this for the blog roll capabilities. And once I figured out that I had to put a section ID (any section, it didn't matter) into the configuration, it works like a charm. I can unpublish each of the sections I do not want to use (calendar, categories, etc.).

My biggest complaint is that it is unclear what you need to download and install. For quick reference for anyone reading this, you need both the component and the module.

Poor response to ?'s and no documentation by hometeam, June 14, 2007

The module, in application, appears to work very well and looks fairly good as well. Unfortunately, the developer, who from the previous rating, used to offer fast effective communication... has since left many users hanging with questions, and no replies or support on his forum. We are very excited about the potential for small, usable blog module... but without inside knowledge on how it works, will need the assistance from the developer to implement effectively... or at least minimal setup documentation... My advice, find a better supported module

Before configuration it appeared with script errors, and only after it was linked to a section (via section ID in the module config) did the errors go away and the sidebar appear properly.

Works great now though! Will be excellent for my blog-based client.
