You might also want to complement this with the LEO dictionary module:
The module allows you to add an additional search box as a module. This means that you can place the search form in any module position you like. When the user clicks the "Translate" button, the search result will be displayed in your Joomla main body by the LEO dictionary component.

This component/module works exactly like Google search (also from kksou).
The appearance can be configured, - my configuration is very minimalistic, just a logo and the text box.
The content displays right into your content pane.
I put Google search and Leo dictionary into our site, because that are the most used tools here.
There was also no problem to install Leo dictionary, it just worked ...
