If you don't get the results you expect ... .. .. .. by gbsmith71, January 28, 2008
Ebaybot is a mambot or plugin. All you need to do is place the tag for it within your article content. The tag should look something like:

{ebaykit id='search+term'}

Replace search+term with whatever you like.

If you do not get the results that you expect, have a look at the content that you are inserting {ebaykit id='bike'}into in HTML editor mode. For some reason, some wysiwig editors change the curly brackets to normal brackets.

Doesn't work by msquared70, December 25, 2007
This bot installs and displays ebay ads ok.. but whatever you enter for key words is apparently ignored. The ads don't relate to your site content. Too bad such a simple nice bot.

Works Well But Needs Some Sort of guide by aussiemike, May 10, 2007
I think this mambot works well but I had a little bit if difficulty configuring it. Seems I can only get the same 'get rich ebooks' no matter what I put for the search criteria. Also needed to change site id in file.

Well done anyway and I recommend it to those who want to put a bit of time into configuring it.

I'm a newbie, and found this tool to be clear, concise and delivered all the features advertised. There was a problem with my content editor, and Gavin jumped right in; very timely support.

Thanks Gavin, great tool!

Could be handy ... by iteripso, May 28, 2006

Remember to call this from your content page using {ebaykit id="searchthis+orthat"}. Relatively trouble-free to install and configure, but not sure how you change to search only for .co.uk, (or show a different currency?) so this one will be uninstalled for the time being.
