Special thanks to Jeff Koertzen.
Agreed the list is so much better than the drop down menu, especially if your site has a lot of components and you do a lot of work from your cpanel. Time saver for sure.

I have to admit, when I first read the description of this module I thought to myself, "You've got to be kidding. Is the component dropdown really that hard?"
But thanks to the previous glowing review I decided to give it a try. It's actually pretty cool and it really does make some tasks a little less tedious. Well done!

Great idea! Unfortunately after installing it on a basic installation, it only listed 2 of the 6 default components plus it added the Media Manager (technically a component, but not listed in the components menu).
The default components in the installation:
1) Banners (Missing)
2) Contacts (Missing)
3) Newsfeeds (Missing)
4) Polls *LISTED*
5) Search *LISTED*
6) Web Links (Missing)
-) Media Manager (*ADDED*)
I look forward to the updates.
Note to the author: would be nice to have submenus show up as well, perhaps as click to show like the cpanel module headers.

Hi jeffkoertzen,
Thanks for your review though it was for V1.0.0. BTW, The module is updated to version 2 with help of Jeffkoertzen and more modification for module settings. Now it can show the sub list and and dev's credit with the option to show/hide them from module settings.
Again thanks to all who is using it and giving me feedback to enrich it more.

Get this module and install it right away. It is so much easier than the built in component drop down module. It creates a simple slist that you just click on. What could be easier.
Just a tip. In the module manager be sure to click on the Administrator tab to see the module. Enable it and as the author says, publish it to the cpanel position.
You will thank the author for this module every time you need to access the component list. And you will thank me for this glowing, much-deserved review that encouraged you to install it.
