Good, mostly by sgaughan, October 5, 2008

This is a good addition to the administrative interface.

One problem relates to WysiwygPro. It has additional plugins that are necessary to operate the editor but aren't used day-to-day. The drop down menu lists everything, including the "DO NOT USE" plugins.

The issue does not occur for TinyMCE or JCE.

Other than the WysiwygPro annoyance, this is a good component.

Owner's reply:
Sorry, we don't have WysiwygPro here to verify, but it seems more an editor misuse of the Joomla framework than a bug of our component.

They use an human readable string ("DO NOT USE") in the element title to let users never choose their plugins... but this is not the right way of working!

This is how we get the list of the editors: "SELECT element, name FROM #__plugins WHERE folder = 'editors' AND published = 1"... exactly in the same way used by the Joomla API to find the list of the editors...

This is a must have for all Joomla users. I wonder why this is not a core function.

Great job and thanks for making it free.

Awesome. Worked like a charm in under a minute. No need for two admin accounts, to avoid having to change editor settings. Hopefully this will be integrated into Joomla later on. Thanks!
