zOOmCat
This plugin (mambot) creates a gallery inside content items by accessing all valid, unprotected, and published pictures inside a Zoom Media Gallery category that you designate. The Gallery created is tableless and based on Cascading Style Sheets ( CSS). The ZoomCat CSS can be modified from the plugin (mambot) parameter panel or via your own template file CSS.

1RC3 released 2-26-07:

You can see the mambot in action using the lightbox JS feature http://joomla.valleyhill.net on the front page.

Thanks to Thaddaeus Dahlberg to develop this excellent and useful plugin.

popup size restriction by gjr, April 19, 2007

Great - really needed this one since it is hard to implement another lightbox js script along with using the one in zoom.
Only problem is that the popup size restriction settings don't seem to work. My large original images are not getting scaled down like they do when viewing them in the actual zoom gallery.
Thanks though - great!

Haven't seen anything else like it yet. Works well. Only thing is the demo had "Error: huge EXIF data count - EXIF is probably Corrupted", but works perfectly. Also it would be great if you could intergrate lightbox (image viewer) into it. [http://serennz.cool.ne.jp/sb/sp/lightbox/] So the images and text wouldn't need a pop-up window.
