JoomlApero
Let your visitors bring others to your site for a drink or other event. This component allows users to invite other users for a meeting, a drink, a church picnic, carpooling or any other kind of event. Integrates seemlessly into your site's CSS. Delivered in English, Dutch and French. Other languages easily addable through the standard methods of Joomla. Both Free and Commercial versions available.

Great idea, shame about the looks by zeus, August 22, 2007

When I saw this I thought just what I needed, went to site page, read about it and downloaded, very shortly realised the instructions on the web page are probably the worst I have ever seen and had to work out various things to get it to show.
The evaluation (free) version eventually displayed and what a disapointment, great idea but the general appearance is poor, what I would expect from a free util & if the full version is similar wouldnt expect to pat a penny for it.
