This is without a doubt one of the best, the themes are novel, the ability to export into other components is neat BUT it has always felt way to heavy in the end having used the pro version for near a year i dropped for !JoomlaComment

I started out by trying JoomlaComment because it was free. I kept getting errors and it was very frustrating. After a while, I bit the bullet and bought this extension. Within a few minutes I had it up and running. NO PROBLEMS.

Another great part about it is that it is 1.5 native.This extension is well worth the cost. Works like a charm.

Actually this is the best comment component i tried. The installation is symple and you get the system working instantly. I found every feature I need, after trying other systems.
It works perfect in native mode (1.5) and looks great, the frontend as well as the administration component.

I really recommend this extension!

I have tried out quite a few of the major comment systems available for Joomla in the past an none of them come close to Jom Comment. Use use the Pro version.

The fact that Jom Comment actually has Native 1.5 support should tell you something about how active the developers are.

Themes are fairly easy to work with since most of them are CSS based. Also it has spam protection with Akismet (wordpress) integration.

It also comes with some extra stuff like social networking links, article hit counter, e-mail article and favorite pages for registered members.

I would recommend JomComment to anyone looking for a nice looking and highly configurable comment system.

I tried others, but Jom Comment blows everything else away. Easy to install, easy to configure and when I contacted customer support to ask about an issue that wasn't even related to Jom Comment or its installation at all, they were happy to help me. I got a response from the support team in under 5 minutes. So, not that I think anyone would need support for this one, it's great to know they are so quick to answer just in case. I'm completely pleased with the features, the ease of installation and the friendly, fast and helpful service. I would recommend this to anyone.

I purchased Jom Comment together with their myBlog componet half a year ago, and loved it from the start. Since then many improvements and new features were added and I would have a hard time imagine my site without Jom Comment now that I got used to it.

I never had some issues with it so I even didn't need to ask for support.

Recommend botj JomComment and their myBlog.

I have been using now Jom Comment for quite a while now I really like it. I am using it with MyBlog and they pretty goes well together. I never had to complain from this component. (Bmy Blog for which I have a great support.

This component is worth every penny and works exactly as advertised, and I'm using it for over a year. Issues I had with this after a recent upgrade were dealt with quickly and professionally, I was very impressed that they worked so hard to solve my specific problem for such a low price!

I don't know what the other guy below me is talking about, but there is absolutely no added delay when installing this component. If you are experiencing a noticeable delay, then something is definitely wrong on "YOUR" end.

This component definitely lives up to it's hype, and is an excellent commenting system. What's even better is the lightning fast support! When I emailed them for help on making their "Recent Comments" module compatible with the popular Seyret Video Component... they got right on it. It wasn't even an hour before they whipped something up, and didn't even charge me!

Before I was using !joomlacomment 3.1.0 but ditched it because the captcha wasn't working properly. Not to mention the software was just too buggy for me. Jom Comment made it extremely easy to import my old comments into the new system with ease.

I love it! Take it from a webmaster with a site that has 22,000 members..... this is the best commenting system out. Trust me... I've tried them all. LOL!

Pros:
Tons of great features.
- Support was excellent. Our reply to the forum was replied within 2 hours related to some IE7 warning.
- We use this comment system on our blog, newsletters and portfolio. We have over 30 Joomla clients and we look forward to integrating it for our clients.
- The cost per license is minimal considering the benefits of this component.
- The Jom Team is highly friendly.
- As Joomla developers, we give Jom Comment our highest recommendation.

Cons:
- We have not found any yet.

This is one of the amazing commenting system I have ever seen for Joomla! 1.5. It needs absolutely no knowledge of any technical language.

Easy to use yet simple and packed with a lot of amazing features. Thank you very much Azrul Studio for such a nice technology.

It would be a great pleasure to use this with more accurate and detailed features. Hoping for the same in future.

However, there were some small glitches I faced, some of which were attended to by the very prompt support team and the remaining are awaited in the future versions. :)
