I did send a support ticket, asking how to integrate Jom Comment, with Zoom Media Gallery. Came back from work opened my website and it was integrated. Excellent.There also was a email, telling me what they have changed in the code. Excellent

After installing several products, I decided the reviews were favorable and purchased this product. The product is good and easy to install. I did have a problem with the CAPTCHA not being displayed. This is a known issue on a Windows based install and has to do with the GD2 library. I wrote Azrul and did not receive a response. After viewing their forums, I found several individuals with the same problem.

While I understand this might not be in their control, a simple reply would've been helpful. If you're installing this product on a Windows based system, you do not need to use CAPTCHA since there are other mechanisms built-in which prevent spam.

Again, I think the product works well but I'm disappointed at the lack of response from the company.

After testing many comment components I am confident that Jom Comment is the most sophisticated, especially when it comes to 3rd party component integration. With the help of the developer, we were able to fully integrate Jom Comment with Open Realty and CMS Realty component so users can now post comments attached to individual listings while listing agents get notified of the new posts, as well as admins.

Jom Comment can also be easily integrated with other components, which makes this extension very useful.

I have never reviewed an extension before...I know, I'm a weenie...but I have been so pleased with Jom Comment and Azrul, I felt compelled to write. I was using it on my Joomla 1.0 site and when I finally upgraded to 1.5, I purchased the upgrade for Jom Comment. It installed smoothly and the administration back-end is intuitive and easy to use but with plenty of chance for tweaking. I love that it ties in with the same anti-spam service that Word Press uses - akismet I think it is (requires free registration at Word Press site though). The other features of the component have all worked well for me. The only problems I've had were some issues with the AJAX that shows/hides the comment form and comments themselves. I have used a couple different templates from RocketTheme and I'm guessing there was some kind of MooTools conflict or something. I could probably sort it out if I wanted, but for me its not that big of an issue, I just turned those features off. I recently found one other "anomaly" with a "Section View" menu item where it lists the categories in a section. The comment form was displaying after each category even though no content items were being displayed. I submitted a trouble ticket including back-end login info and Azrul's staff logged in, fixed the problem and will be rolling the fix into the next release. Very professional, very quick on the support end.

I've been using Jomcomment for over two years. It was a nice component when first released and the developers have made constant improvements since then.

Its straightforward to configure and offers a wealth of options to tailor the functionality to your site's needs. The Azrul developers offer reliable support and a easy to use Client area where you can download new versions and upgrades.

I was happy to find that I only needed to pay $10 to upgrade to the 1.5 version of JomComment. Is it becoming rare to pay a reasonable price for a great, bug-free component. I usually get stuck paying through the nose for commerical components that don't deliver what they promise. I'm glad to note that Azrul is an acception to this trend.

The perfect comment component, impossible not have it for blog or similar site.

I posted a support request and in 10 minutes without doing a thing docman was integrated with Jomcomment WOW!

I've had no problem whatsoever with Jom Comment and look forward to Azrul's new projects!

The many templates make it possible to get the exact fit for any Joomla site, very easily by just clicking on a few buttons. There are so many possible adjustments, yet none of these meddle with the code or make any of my pages look like a sore thumb.

It's well-thought-out, professional, clean-looking. What's more, I didn't need an ounce of support because the extension took care of itself! That's how programs should be!

I hat a strange behavior after installing JomComment on my site: I got only blank pages!! After opening a ticket, Mark investigated it and found that the problem came because of the weird management of my provider's servers. Mark found a workaround, but some glitches continued to appear regularly. I knew that it was not JomComment at fault, as I worked perfectly on my local test machine. Just the best component in its category.

I want to add my voice to those who are impressed by Azrul's tech support.

I recently purchased Jom Comment and had some trouble getting it to work the way I needed it. Support was quick and efficient in helping me getting things up and running. If you need a complete comment extension, Jom Comment is worth the $30.

This truly is the best comment component available. It's quick and easy to install and looks great out of the box. If you do want to edit the look then the templates are simple and easy to modify.

It's everything you could need from a comment component and it works perfectly. As mentioned by others, the support is fast and friendly too which make the world of difference.

The only hard part with those guys is the actual purchase. If you manage to buy from them, then everything else is easy.

Easy to install. Works immediately (as long as you remember to enable it in MyBlog too). Does what it's supposed to do. Has several very kewl templates. Lots of nice features. It even pings Technorati.

Oh, and did I say those people take customer service and tech support seriously? Well, just in case... they really do. VERY nice to work with.

feature I'd like added: more pings to other servers, and the possibility to add servers from the backend.

I bought this add-on for my wife's cooking site. She wants feedback on the recipes she posts.

I had this downloaded, installed, configured and working withing about 30 minutes. I pretty much went with the standard settings, a few minor changes. NO HACKING of code to get it to work.

I would highly recommend it for the ease of use etc.

I have used JomComment for about 9 months. The component is easy to install and very easy to use. With several nice templates this also makes a "eye-candy" feature in a rather doll article section on my site.

The best thing is still the excelent support. They always answer quickly (within a day, but mostly a couple of hours) and eager to help.

I hope Azrul keep making lots of new components. One of to few that takes their community serious.

For a commercial component I expect better support.
Questions and support tickets remain unanswered for weeks and some issues aren't being resolved for months.

If you intend to use this extension with Seyret or a gallery component, forget it, it is useless.

Awesome how smooth it works and how easy it installs. I had 2 comment systems before. One made a mess in my database, the other was brilliant but the developer cancelled the product (!JoomlaComment 3.25). So I whent to buy Jom Comment Pro.

First extention i paid for ever, about 1½ years ago. Excellent work, and the few small problems I have had, was solved quickly and profesionally from Azrul.

Its fairly easy to fool around with the templates, which wa needed on my site, because of a dark genereal template.

I have Jomcomment integrated with several components (groupjive, Myblog, Eventlist and RSgallery), and the supportsite offers guides on the integration. The forum on Eventlist couldnt offer help on the integration, and Azrul didnt have the solution straight off, but Mark from Azrul had a look at the backend, and fixes the integration (on a sunday).

Do you know the feeling, when you feel "safe and in good hands" with some components, as opposed to others, which you kind of just wait for trouble? Well, I feel safe around Jomcomment, as well as Azrul in case some problem should appear

Great component. Worked well right out of the box and I even have an old version of Joomla. I have also integrated it already into my other custom components.. Seriously, it was nice not having to write separate comment scripts for each of the applications I wanted comments on.

Worth every single dime, I would do it again in a heartbeat!

paid the 20 dollars and downloaded easily and installed with no problem at all... A few clicks had my comments system displayed at my selected categories and I am really pleased with this extension especially as it is 1.5 native... I made the decision to wait for native extensions and not run anything in legacy.

I use the rhuk-milky way template and there is a slight layout issue in the backend with the comment admin. (Its too wide so i had to scroll right to see all the admin buttons) Support for this was excellent and a login account for Azrul had them in and the issue fixed within 36 hours. I believe that this issue is now fixed for the next release version...
