+ comes with 7 Templates
+ Nice Support (via Skype too)
+ CB Integration (Avatars)
+ Easy editing of the language files (inside the components options).

- What is missing for now is a template editing concept, but the author told me that this is on its way (now you need to go trough joomlaXplorer to edit the css of JomComment).
- Nothing negative more to mention.

I think JomComment is really good and if you choose this you pay some bucks, but therefore it saves you a lot of work and lifetime. Ajax is beautyfull too.

Jom Comments was easy for me to install, and it works great for comments. I like that comments update immediately, and the emoticons are a nice touch. I highly recommend this product!

After trying all the other comment systems, I purchased Jom Comment. It is the best of the bunch for my purpose. Support is excellent. I have zero complaints or issues.
For my use it would be nice if the RSS feed had an "All Comments" option rather than each comment having it's own individual feed.

I've been using Jom Comment for some time now, and I have to say that I couldn't be more satisfied.

I've tried all kinds of components, both commercial and free ones. I usually find small bugs or annoying things, but I haven't found any in Jom Comment.

The component runs smoothly, is extremely easy to set up and is easy to customize. There are a number of options and possibilities in backend - i can't find any options missing.
A feature I would like to mention is the fact that you don't have to enter the specific language files in Joomlaexplorer or through FTP if you want to change these. They can easily be changed through Jom Comments easy interface - this means even dummies can translate!
I have never seen this in other components before.

The support is also very good. After sending a question via mail, I got the answer 5 minutes later!

Even if the component requires commercial license, which means you have to pay for it - it is clearly worth every penny!

I like this article comment tool for several key reasons. It presents a very professional presentation and was a very easy to install component. The component admin is very easy to understand. I like the ability to select only certain content sections for comments and on/off for static content. Although I moderate all comments, the captcha and spam control are important for any comment system. The author was very quick to answer my questions and offer support plus asked for feedback and recommendations. Also, the component worked fine with SEF enabled.

Installed and it worked the first time with no trouble on a fairly complicated site. Plays well with ijoomla magazine.

The templats all seem to be a bit bulky and look clunky at the bottom of a post, but the hide feature makes it not so obtrusive.

It looks like a lot of poeple are trying to use it to do a site guest book, it would be nice if they made a module or two to accompany the component for that purpose. having a latest comments module would be nice as well...

I had a problem installing Jom Comment, but I think it was due to the fact I tried to install AkoComment, different versions, and couldn't get anything to work ... being a relative newcomer to Joomla!

Anyway, I wrote the the support desk and they went in and cleaned up my mess and installed it for me. It works great!

Now I just need some comments ...

Having only just installed this within the last couple of weeks I think it does what it says on the tin.

It is easy to install, configure and the template section is great.

It is a paid for component but sometimes it is worth it.

One small bug in that I can't get the Trackbacks to work but that is a minor thing and will no doubt be fixed soon

This is a must have for anyone who wishes to have an effective blog on their site.

We developed a site which now has over a 1000 registered users and huge amounts of traffic and we spent a long time looking and considering comment and blog modules / components.

This comment system is fexible, reliable and I know others have said it is "heavy" in its coding and others have complained it is not free. Neither of these have been problematic for us, sometimes you have to pay a little to get a great product and lets be honest it really is not that expensive.

Simply, this is awesome and if you want to have an effective blog on your joomla site or a general comment system take a serious look at this as it is one of the best around

I was looking for an easy solution and after trying some of the free ones I found most to not function or at least not well. Then I found this one and after looking it over for a few min I had no problems paying the low price, installing and now using it with 0 problems for me so far.

This plugin works great and installed quickly without issue.

My only gripe so far is there is an option for "Choosing 'Yes' will display fields to enter name/e-mail/website". It REQUIRES all 3 fields. I would like a require named field, not the other 2. There isn't a way to add them separately that I can see.

I will have to say that this is pretty easy to get going! The only thing I hope they get working in the future is maximize/minimize of the comments. It will not work if your template was designed in 'quirk mode'. That really needs to be fixed because that is an awesome feature, but I can't use it! Worth buying otherwise. Keep up the good work!

When working on my website I was trying to do everything opensource, but when I couldn't find a commenting system for joomla that worked the way I wanted, I decided to try jomComment and see how it worked out. I have to say, I've been extremely pleasantly surprised.. not just at how easy to use JomComment is, but the support is *fantastic*. If something breaks, Azrul's right there to help fix it.

Sorry that I don't have much to add besides agreeing with the other reviews that say that JomComment is an professionally-done and excellent component.

Azrul continues to support and improve his product and it is well worth the modest price.
