moslatex
mostlatex is a content filtering mambot for Joomla! which converts tagged LaTeX equations into PNG files on the fly. The images are then displayed inline in place of the original formula.

Note that to use moslatex you will require working latex, dvips and convert binaries, further information is available from the project homepage.

Please be aware that I do not believe this content filter will work in Joomla 1.5 legacy mode:

moslatex or math on your website by legrosmaxou, December 18, 2007
I am using moslatex to create scientifical articles on my website, I have tryed several complex math formulae with it and it works fine. Too bad that it does only create math formulae, latex is used also for is ability to shape an article and creating joomla article on joomla would be very usefull for the scientific comunity. Moreover, the pdf created via joomla doesn't take the moslatex syntax into account, what would be very usefull too.
Great job guys
